N48H is a neodymium (NdFeB) permanent magnet material with high coercivity and high operating temperatures for use in more demanding operating environments. Sector magnets for DC servo disk motors are typically required to have the following properties:
Magnetic properties:
High magnetic energy product (energy product), such as N48H, with high remanence and high coercivity.
The magnetic energy product is typically 48 MGOe with a remanent magnetization of about 1.38-1.42 T and a coercivity of about 923-965 kA/m.
Temperature Stability:
The N48H magnets have a wide operating temperature range, with a typical maximum temperature of about 120°C. The magnets are stable at high temperatures.
Maintaining stable magnetic properties at high temperatures is especially important for servomotor use in high-temperature environments.
Shape and size:
The fan-shaped design makes the magnet more suitable for mounting on the rotor of a disk motor, optimizing magnetic field distribution and motor efficiency.
The thickness, inner and outer diameters, and angle of the magnet need to be determined based on the specific design requirements of the motor.
Coating and Protection:
NdFeB magnets are susceptible to oxidation and require a surface treatment (e.g., nickel-plated, zinc-plated, or epoxy-coated) to prevent corrosion and oxidation.
