Residual Magnetic Inductance (Br): the maximum magnetic induction that can be achieved at the surface of the magnet. smCo5 series (first generation samarium cobalt magnets), these materials typically provide residual magnetism of about 0.86 to 1.16 tesla (T). sm2Co17 series (second generation samarium cobalt magnets), these improved samarium cobalt magnets can achieve higher residual magnetism values of about 1.00 to 1.20 Tesla.


Coercivity (Hc): Reflects the magnet's ability to resist external magnetic interference. Samarium Cobalt magnets usually have high coercivity, generally between 12-30 kOe.


BHmax (Maximum Magnetic Energy Product): Measure the maximum energy provided by the magnet, unit is MGOe. The BHmax of Samarium Cobalt magnet is usually 16-32 MGOe, which shows the strong magnetic performance.


Working temperature: An important advantage of samarium cobalt magnet is its high temperature stability. The maximum operating temperature can be 300°C or more, depending on the alloy composition.
