Manganese-zinc ferrite is characterized by high permeability and high flux density, and low loss at frequencies below 1MHz. Ni-Zn ferrite is characterized by very high impedance, low permeability of less than a few hundred, and low loss at frequencies above 1MHz. The permeability of Mn-Zn ferrite is in the range of thousands to tens of thousands, while that of NiZn ferrite is in the range of hundreds to thousands. The higher the permeability of the ferrite, the higher the impedance at low frequencies and the lower the impedance at high frequencies. Therefore, in the inhibition of high-frequency interference, it is appropriate to use nickel-zinc ferrite; on the contrary, use manganese-zinc ferrite. Or in the same bunch of cables at the same time on the set of manganese-zinc and nickel-zinc ferrite, so that can inhibit the interference band is wider. The larger the difference between the inner and outer diameters of the magnetic ring, the larger the longitudinal height, and the larger the impedance, but the inner diameter of the magnetic ring must be tightly wrapped around the cable to avoid magnetic leakage. The installation position of the magnetic ring should be as close as possible to the source of interference, i.e. it should be close to the entrance and exit of the cable. The longer the magnetic ring, the better The tighter the combination of the core aperture and the cable through which it passes, the better. For low-frequency end harassment, it is recommended that the cable be wound 2 to 3 turns, and for high-frequency end harassment, no turns should be wound (because of the presence of distributed capacitance), and a longer magnetic ring should be used. Installation position of the magnetic ring, the magnetic ring should be installed as close as possible to the source of interference, that is, it should be close to the import and export of the cable.
